YOU CAN’ T IMAGINE!!
This sport, which consists in going into subterranean
caves, has its interest in avoiding the natural difficulties
that these caves have in them: subterranean
rivers, rocks, narrow ways… using machinery and techniques
developed by this speciality. We give different
options that can be taken out either by grown ups or by children,
that have different skill levels.
This activity can be taken out in any time of the year.
NAME OF THE ACTIVITY: Speleotourism – Walking
LOCATION: La Axarquia county
DESCRIPTION: This routes are through several villages
of La Axarquia county, very rich in culture and traditions. This
activity is thought for those who want to approach to the centre
of the Earth through caves of very easy access, of warm temperature,
with many and funny rock formations that will show us a new way
of seeing the world. No previous experience
is needed, and of course, they are not dangerous. We can call
this activity the meeting of the walker with the subterranean
world.

DESCRIPTION: These speleological routes take place through
some of the most popular and rich in tradition villages of Antequera
County. They are very easy reachable caves, without any danger.
Very interesting ones, though, due to their rich rock formations.

NAME OF THE ACTIVITY: Speleology in El Gato cave
LOCATION: Mountain range of Ronda
DESCRIPTION: The enormous Hundidero cave is placed at the
end of a canyon that years ago led to the waters of the Gaduares
river, also called Campobuche. The gallery is big, and there
are many lakes. There are fossil areas; this is, abandoned by
the activity of the river, and other more or less active, depending
on the weather. The ceilings are very high, and from them hang
beautiful calcite tapings. Many rooms have names, like “ The
Bullfighting ring “, “The bull pen “, where
we can see a wonderful cascade that takes the name of the gallery.
After going through places like “ Boredom cave” or “ Dune
room “, we can see the daylight through the big entrance
of El Gato Cave.
